Your first and easiest choice might be a Pet Shop but this would probably be the worst place to purchase your Vizsla puppy or any dog for that matter. Puppies sold at a Pet Shop are highly likely to come from a puppy mill. They will be poorly bred and could have health problems and temperament problems.

Next, you might choose a Backyard breeder. This would also be a very poor decision. Many Backyard breeders are in it just for money, they generally do not care about breeding, health standards or following the proper methods of raising puppies. They are in it for the quick sell.

Your best bet is to go with a Hobby breeder. The majority of them are serious about their breeding practices and are not in it solely for the money. They breed dogs because they love them and take pride in how they are raised and cared for. They have strong concerns about where their puppies are going and in what kind of environment. They also stand behind every dog they breed. You will pay the same amount here as the previous 2 places and sometimes a little less.

Bathing Vizsla Puppy

Bathing your Vizsla puppy may turn in to more of play time than actually getting him clean. You see the Vizsla dog breed loves water. If your Vizsla does not, then he is definitely a 'fish out of water' because we have yet to see a Vizsla who does not love the stuff.

As this video demonstrates Vizslas have no problem when you stick them in a bathtub with some water in it. They are not shaking or scared, there is no attempts to jump over the side and escape out the door, no shaking off the water on their skin. These guys simply love to be wet and play in it.

The hardest time you will have when you are trying to get your Vizsla puppy clean is to actually get them clean. They are having way to much fun for that!

White House Press Secretary Bought Vizsla Puppy For Company

Dana Perino, the White House Press Secretary is a certified 'Bushie.' But she also loves her home country of England and admits to still be madly in love with her husband. But in the 90's way before she was busy working for the President of the United States, she did not have a job. To keep her company she bought a dog, a puppy to be exact. A Vizsla puppy she named after Henry VIII.

Dana knew that Henry was a good puppy when she was told he came from a breed of champions where his father had won Best of Show at Crufts. Dana really didn't know what that meant but she knew her Vizsla puppy was special.

She currently works hard at her job which she loves but does try and get back to her home to see family, friends and her Vizsla whenever she can.
